Llum BCN 2025

A unique, collective experience that uses the best light, kinetic and digital technologies from around the world, Llum BCN aims to bedazzle this month.
Organized by Barcelona City Council, Llum BCN reimagines public spaces through the language of light. With installations that combine photography, audiovisual elements, architecture, digital arts and contemporary design, the festival pushes the boundaries in the field of light installation. One of the city’s main cultural highlights, it showcases how light can transform urban environments into immersive works of art.
Over three days, the Poblenou neighborhood and areas around Plaça de les Glòries will become the heart of this festival. This year’s program features 15 works by international artists, contributions from 17 local design, art and architecture schools, and 11 installations by Poblenou-based resident artists. Highlights include creations by Rising, Traffic Jam Zoom, Loop, Fosfenica, and Genesi.IA.
