LOOP started in 2003 as a festival for contemporary art practices related to video, film and new media. It brings together galleries, cultural centers, universities, curators and distributors among others, boosting artistic production in Barcelona and abroad.
The festival is both a fair and a forum - bridging local talent with international voices and staging unexpected artistic collisions. This edition features works by artists such as Refik Anadol (Machine Hallucinations - Fauna), Cecilia Bengolea (Lighting Dance), Xavi Bou (Tous les oiseaux du monde) and Kim Woong Hyun (Drmng) - weaving tradition, tech and visuals.
