Gold is Lúa Coderch's attempt to recreate images from memories that never formed. Coderch was born in Iquito, Peru, the largest city in the Peruvian rainforest, but moved to Barcelona when she was just a few months old.
Coderch reflects on the construction of fiction from its origins and the relation between appearance and reality, like the fiction of gold created through alchemy.
