A celebration of the career of one of the leading pioneers of design in Spain, Miguel Milá Sagnier, the exhibition Miguel Milá. (Pre) industrial designer has been coordinated and jointly produced by DHub, La Fábrica and the Madrid Design Festival.
Featuring over 200 items including prototypes, maps and recent works, this exhibition provides an exploration into the life and legacy of one of Barcelona’s most influential designers. Spanning a career of more than seven decades, Milá has been honoured with prestigious awards such as the Premi Nacional de Disseny and the Compasso d’Oro Internazionale, securing his place as a central figure in the evolution of industrial design. His approach blends practicality, elegance and simplicity, driven by the belief that great design should be both useful and timeless.
The exhibition explores his creative process, influenced by craft, DIY and his commitment to the essential.
