Onda Vaga
By Charlotte Stace

Onda Vaga - the musical collective from Argentina and Uruguay - comes to Razzmatazz. Known for their sunny, acoustic sound that mixes cumbia, folk, reggae, ska and rock, they exude warmth and optimism.
Formed by a group of four musicians (Nacho Rodríguez, Marcelo Blanco, Marcus Orellana and Tomás Justo), they started in the laid-back coastal town of Cabo Polonio and quickly gained a following with their fresh, beachy energy. Their debut album Fuerte y Caliente (2008) set the tone for their eclectic sound, followed by well-received records like Espíritu Salvaje (2010), OV IV (2016), and Nuestras canciones (2018). Their latest album Amuletos de Cristal (2025) is a continuation of their feelgood vibes and should be the soundtrack to everyone's summer.
If you haven’t seen them perform live before, now's your chance to catch them on the European leg of their world tour.
