The Australian comedian, performer and writer Amelia Jane Hunter has built a career out of turning travel, sex, bad decisions and human absurdity into sharply observed stories. She’s earned comedy awards and acclaim at festivals from Edinburgh to Melbourne, and now she’s bringing her work to Mint Bar.

Her Stories with Spine series began in Berlin in 2015, where she began creating evenings around a changing theme and inviting a range of people from different backgrounds to take the stage. The emphasis has always been on stories with personality - funny, strange, messy, emotional and very much full of life.

For this Barcelona edition, she’s bringing her Chapters and Adventures to us, promising an evening based on the chaotic business of living well. She’s been described by Time Out UK as ‘a brilliant tour de force of laughter filled mischievous comedy’. She’s riveting, bold and completely uncensored.
