An evening worth getting down early for here as Berlin-based Australians and Barcelona's TOU bring wall-to-wall psychedelia and atmospheric pop to Laut. The Dharma Chain intriguingly describe themselves as representing "a new generation of bands that see psychedelia as an expanding territory". Since 2020, they have combined shoegaze, post-punk, and neo-psychedelia with echoes of 1960s rock, building a dense and immersive sound based on distorted, ethereal guitars, reverb-drenched vocals and layers of synth.

TOU is the project of local fixture Albert Segura, through which he explores alternative pop, shoegaze, and noise pop. Last year's Foscor LP was an excellent distillation of the project's restrained psychedelia, while this year's Flores y Puñales was released by El Genio Equivocado, the label arm of one of our favourite record stores in the city.
