Transvision Vamp

Transvision Vamp are back, bringing a blast of late-’80s attitude with them. Formed in London in 1986 by guitarist Nick Christian Sayer and singer Wendy James, the band mixed punky guitars with pop sounds, and a provocative image that quickly turned James into one of the era’s biggest rock icons.
Their 1988 debut Pop Art reached the UK Top 5, but it was 1989’s Velveteen that sent them to the top of the UK Albums Chart. Singles including “I Want Your Love” and “Baby I Don’t Care” were huge hits in their own right, with the latter reaching number 3 in the UK charts. A third album, Little Magnets Versus the Bubble of Babble, followed before the group split in 1992 to go their separate ways.
Now reunited for a new chapter, they return to the stage with all the swagger they had before. Tickets cost 42 euros and are on sale now.
