This is the first of what will presumably be a continuing series of nights at Laut, "focusing on contemporary forms of psychedelic and progressive rock". Headliners Travo are from Braga and Porto in Portugal, and in their decade or so of existence have established themselves as one of Europe's most exciting and exacting heavy psychedelic rock bands. 

The quartet blend fuzz-drenched guitar workouts, space rock, garage rock and progressive influences into an explosive sound that has drawn comparisons with bands such as King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Osees and SLIFT, and their live shows are the stuff of legend for their sheer intensity, with the band stretching songs into immersive, high-energy excursions driven by thunderous rhythms and swirling effects.
