Climate talk doesn’t have to mean endless PowerPoints, doom and gloom, and a room full of reusable water bottles. The Voices for Climate event brings together songwriters, climate communicators and the Barcelona community together for one evening. There’ll be a short, science-based climate talk, a conversation on creativity and climate, and a showcase of original songs about the world we are living in.

Songwriters coming to the event this year include: Bradley Lauretti, aka This Frontier Needs Heroes, who brings indie folk and Americana shaped by love and protest; and Australian musician Liam Gerner, who appears with material rooted in blues, country and socially conscious songwriting.

Organised by the Barcelona Hub of The Climate Reality Project for Barcelona Climate Week, the idea is simple: art and music can reach people like a conference never will.
