After a summer of sea, sun and sand, the city calls on us to clean up its coastline. At Sant Sebastià Beach, volunteers are invited to come and help clean up the beach, as well as learn about preserving the Mediterranean coastline. The aim is to raise awareness of the real impact of litter on the marine and coastal environment.

Participants will also get to learn about the seahorse marine re-population project led by L’Aquàrium de Barcelona, plus other experiences offered by the Aquarium. It’s a chance to connect with the environment and fellow city residents who care as much as you do about protecting this space.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, make sure to come in comfortable clothing and footwear, and bring sun protection. The meeting point is Salt Beach Club, and the activity is organised in collaboration with L’Aquàrium de Barcelona and Pachamama BCN.
