Lullaby Vintage
By Charlotte Stace

There are plenty of places to hunt for vintage clothes in Barcelona, but Lullaby Vintage has been doing things its own way since long before second-hand shopping became so fashionable. Catalan couple África and Joan opened the little Raval boutique in 2009. Vintage clothing had always been part of their lives, so they took the plunge, began hunting down pieces across Europe and turned their passion into a shop.
You’ll find Lullaby on Carrer de la Riera Baixa, a street lined with vintage shops. Inside, the rails are arranged by decade, with pieces stretching from the early 20th century right through to the 2000s. You’ll find everything from sequinned dresses, kimonos and statement coats to bags, shoes and sunglasses, with the occasional designer gem thrown in.
Part of Lullaby’s charm is that África and Joan are musicians, so the shop’s eccentric soundtrack adds to the whole experience. This one’s a must for vintage lovers.
