Barcelona Fringe Festival

Rooted in the spirit of the legendary Edinburgh Fringe, the Barcelona Fringe Festival brings that same open-access, experimental energy to the Mediterranean, but with a focus on comedy. Spread across multiple venues, it brings us over 300 performances featuring comedians from all over the world.
There’ll be stand-up, improv, clowning, game-shows, spoken word and more in a mix of languages. The festival will kick off with a special “Opening Scaremony” Halloween party to get audiences in the mood.
The event is the result of a broad collaboration between some of Barcelona’s top comedy venues and brands. Key partners include Secret Comedy Club (offering English & Spanish shows), The Comedy Clubhouse (active since 2021 and producing English-language shows daily), Barcelona Improv Group (the city’s main improv school), and other spaces such as Teatro Metamorfosis and the underground creative hub The BCN Studio.
