Barcelona gallery weekend 2025

As summer draws to a close, motivation returns to get off the beach and seek out some culture. And, meeting that very need is Barcelona Gallery Weekend - the annual event that highlights the city's contemporary art scene.
Organised by Art Barcelona, it features exhibitions across numerous galleries in Barcelona and L'Hospitalet. The event aims to promote art collecting and position galleries as cultural hubs open to the public. The 2025 edition will showcase works from over 30 national and international artists. In addition, the event introduces the FLASH programme, presenting nine exclusive shows available only during the weekend. Another notable element is The Collector is Present, a programme that fosters collaboration between collectors and gallerists.
With a program packed full of art, from painting and sculpture to installations and the visual arts, the weekend promises to be a fascinating reflection of the current art world. If you’re interested in the art scene, this is not a weekend to miss.
