Barcelona international community day

Barcelona International Community Day celebrates the city’s vibrant multicultural identity. It functions as an annual hub connecting the international community across Barcelona.
The programme offers nearly 60 activities throughout the day. Sessions include “Barcelona taxes for newcomers”, “Employment trends in Barcelona and resources for job hunting”, “Manage the cultural shock of moving abroad”, and “How to buy and finance a home in Barcelona”. There are also all-day activities such as immersive VR job interview simulators, a children’s exhibition, and a professional-photo stand for personal branding.
Held at the Maritime Museum, the day features free-entry to a mix of workshops, talks and a fair where organisations, businesses and associations present services, initiatives and support for those living and working in the city. The programme also highlights Host Ambassadors - newcomers who share their stories of making Barcelona home - and encourages networking, cultural exchange, and access to information on settling into city life.
