Barcelona Puppet Festival

One of the most beloved events in the city’s calendar, the 14th edition of the historic Barcelona Puppet Festival comes to Poble Espanyol this month. An event for the whole family to enjoy, you’ll be able to watch over 40 performances by 12 of the best Spanish puppet companies across 10 different stages.
Aside from the extensive range of puppets on display, there’ll be a dedicated children’s play area, workshops and food trucks spread across two whole days. What’s more, the artisans of Poble Espanyol have put together craft workshops for the little ones. They’ll be able to learn first-hand about centuries-old trades in puppetry from professionals who have been dedicated to this sector for years.
