Barcelona vive mexico 2025
By Charlotte Stace

Celebrating all things Mexican, Barcelona Vive Mexico returns to Poble Espanyol for its annual edition. Expect an explosion of Mexican culture in Barcelona with mariachi bands, food tastings, lucha libre wrestling, and traditional dance, all brought together in one of the city’s most colourful festivals. This isn’t just a local event, it’s part of a global tradition rooted in El Grito de Dolores, or The Cry for Independence, a defining moment in Mexican history.
Across two days, the celebration offers something for everyone: from mezcal and tequila masterclasses and piñata competitions to live performances of boleros and rancheras. More than 30 food stalls will serve up authentic Mexican flavours, from street food favourites to regional specialties, creating a true feast for the senses. With its mix of music, food and festive spirit, the event captures the essence of Mexico in the heart of Barcelona.
