Extreme Barcelona 2026

This year’s sporting calendar has been packed with global sporting events like the World Cup and Wimbledon, but urban sports continue to carve out their own cultural space. Barcelona, already recognised as Europe’s skateboarding capital, is once again the perfect stage for Extreme Barcelona, a festival that celebrates the energy and creativity of extreme sports.
Returning now for its 18th edition with its biggest urban-sports programme yet, it’s bringing together more than 500 athletes from over 40 countries. This year’s edition includes 11 disciplines and nearly 30 competitions across men’s, women’s and mixed categories, with skateboarding, BMX, scooter, breaking, parkour, street football, pumptrack and other urban formats all in the mix.
There’s also a strong music side curated by LOS40, with artists including Lildami, Juls, Giadda & Sankki and Ceaxe to keep us pumped in between competitions.
