The Fantastic Library of Beasts is a new immersive exhibition co-produced by Layers of Reality and the Museum of Medieval Art (MEV) at the Centre d’Art Amatller.

It explores the enduring relevance and popularity of medieval beasts. From the peacock and basilisk to the elephant and centaur. From the mermaid and phoenix to the dragon, harpy and whale, the exhibition aims to reveal each unique creature in a spectacular immersive format.

There are ten rooms, including a vast immersive hall of over 300 m² where you’ll find nine creatures from the Medieval Bestiary; a VR360° virtual reality room that transports you to the end of the world; an interactive sketch & post room where you can create your own medieval beast, animate it and project it, along with exhibition and interactive spaces that plunge us into the depths of the fantastic world of the medieval bestiary.

An exhibition perfect for all the family to enjoy.
