Festa Major de Sants 2024

The end of summer marks the beginning of the vast swathes of the city’s Festa Majors - each neighbourhood’s very own party. One of the biggest is the Festes de Sants, which offers an authentic insight into contemporary barrio life in Barcelona.
Celebrations will kick off on August 24th and run for a week. By day you can walk around the neighbourhood and take in the eclectic mix of street decorations, or head to one of the cava-fueled barbecues. Of course, there’ll be the castellers (human castles), correfocs and the gegantes too. By night, the crowds descend and local bands and DJs pump out an endless stream of music to get you and your friends in the party spirit. If you need to escape the chaos, be sure to stop off at one of the little bars in Plaça d’Osca.
So, if you loved the Festa Major de Gracia, then you can head straight to Sants for the next round of celebrations.
