Festival Oui 2026
By Charlotte Stace

Festival Oui! (Festival de Théâtre en Français) is a brilliant January-February reset: a hit of French-language theatre that’s as entertaining as it is thought-provoking. The festival’s lure is that every performance on the programme is being presented in Spain for the first time, so it’s the perfect opportunity to discover your next favourite piece of theatre.
The 2026 lineup mixes new writing with bold performances across a range of tones and themes, with pieces including La Clairière, Maintenant je n’écris plus qu’en français, Pourquoi les gens qui sèment, Mon petit grand frère, Léviathan, Le journal de Maïa, Avec plaisirs, and Tel le fleuve rencontre la mer.
But it’s not just all about theatre. The festival also leans into community and participation, with extras like Soffio l’écho des livres oubliés (for ages 3+), a reading competition, and post-show meetings with cast and crew. If you’re interested, you can view the full programme online and book tickets.
