Freedonia, the association which recently celebrated nine years of underground offerings in the deepest Raval, have added a new dimension to their cultural program with the launch of a new monthly at nearby venue This Side Up, which also hosts the Glove and Club Marabú events.

Freedotheque is the logical extension of the eccentric activities found at their HQ on Carrer Lleialtat, and the chance for organizer Coque to mobilize his cult of fans dressed according to the month’s theme to assemble and wild out to the tune of quality DJs who rotate each month. As every beachgoing individual is aware, May is the month to shed some excess flesh and Freedonia aim to assist with their very own version of operació bikini.

Providing an energetic soundtrack is French organic psychedelic disco peddler Golden Bug, while Coque and the crew motivate the masses to move their asses.
