La Nit dels Museus 2026
By Charlotte Stace

La Nit dels Museus is one of the best annual excuses to stay out late for culture. For one night, museums and art spaces across the city open after dark with free entry. The 2025 edition brings together over 90 spaces and special activities, from concerts and recitals to workshops, performances and guided visits that give collections a different kind of energy at night.
This year, the programme includes places as varied as MACBA, Museu Picasso, MNAC, CCCB, Fundació Joan Miró, CosmoCaixa, Museu Tàpies, DHub and Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, alongside newer additions and first-timers such as Casa Batlló, Fundació MAPFRE, Museu de les Aigües, Espai Moja, MMACA and the Museu de Ciències Naturals. It also stretches beyond Barcelona, with participating venues in Badalona, Cornellà, Esplugues, L’Hospitalet, Sant Adrià, Santa Coloma and Sant Joan Despí.
One stop might mean contemporary art, the next archaeology, photography, design or a historic house, all under the moodier light of evening.
