Progressive UK producer Leon Vynehall was the first to step up for renowned mix series DJ-Kicks. Featuring a vast range of DJs, producers and musicians since !K7 first dropped the mix in 1995, savvy music heads know just how much respect this series has gained. Vynehall’s follows masters in the game such as Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen, Robert Hood, Marcel Dettmann, Scuba, Thievery Corporation, Stereo MCs and Nightmares on Wax.

His 26-track outing digs deep, spanning ambient sounds, dancehall, EBM, cult underground, Mancunian street soul, breakbeats and old school jungle. There’s new material from the man himself, exclusives from Hessle Audio, Ploy and tracks that’ll be available digitally for the first time from Haruomi Hosono, Primitive and Ellen Fullman. It’s an open-minded approach to crafting a mix, and his DJ sets are equally diverse. 

His Barcelona date follows one at London’s Fabric. This is one for the clubbing calendar.
