Poetry is one of the most beautiful art forms known to man. From Wiliam Shakespeare’s sonnets to Pablo Neruda’s love poems, it has been an essential part of human culture for hundreds (even thousands) of years.
In celebration of this art form, this month the CCCB is holding its very own event, entitled ‘Poetry Slam Barcelona: Creation Based on the Word and the Scene’. Through this event, the museum offers a contemporary artistic platform where ‘the word’ is the central element.
Poetry Slam Barcelona is a platform for the city’s creators who use words as the basis of their creation. It provides an exciting opportunity for those creating in this field to take to the stage and share their art with an audience. The poets who come to take part do so with the aim of entertaining an audience of all ages and backgrounds.Admission is free - we’ll see you over there.
