RetroBarcelona is a full-scale celebration of classic gaming and vintage tech that puts nostalgia at its core. Now in its 11th edition, the non-profit event has become a major reference point in Spain’s retro-gaming scene, and this year expands its presence yet again.

This year, be prepared for 7,000 square metres of activities, including a museum of classic systems, a play zone with more than 250 computers and consoles, official tournaments, a retro games market, and a programme of talks, podcasts and workshops. Guest names already announced include legendary Japanese game composers Yoko Shimomura and Michiru Yamane, alongside creators, journalists and streamers from across Spain’s gaming world.

This is a meeting point for anyone who still feels a thrill at old cartridges, arcade sounds and the early history of videogames. Check out the full programme online.
