Slay!

Slay! brings an evening of humour to El Paraigua, spotlighting a mix of female and LGBTQIA+ comedians. Hosted by the local comedy collective Atomic Comedy BCN, it’s the perfect opportunity for a mid-week laugh.
Unlike other stand-up events, this one focuses on relationships, identity and culture through a fresh, diverse lens. There’ll be witty one-liners, stories that tug at the heartstrings, and punchy social observations - all delivered in English and designed to resonate across cultures, languages and genders.
Yet, beyond the laughter, it’s an opportunity to experience comedy as a platform for visibility and empowerment. Its aim in centering women and LGBTQ+ voices is to show how humour can build community, challenge social norms, and create a safe space where everyone’s experience is seen and valued.
