So Many Stories. So Many Questions brings Max de Esteban’s sharp and unsettling view of contemporary capitalism to Foto Colectania. Working across photography, video and installation, the Barcelona-based artist explores the hidden systems that shape modern life such as technology, economic power, infrastructures, landscape and the circulation of images.

The exhibition gathers more than 50 works from his long-term research project Aesthetic of Extinction: Infrastructures of Contemporary Capitalism. Series such as 20 Red Lights look at anonymous spaces linked to technological production, while Provisional Cartography - Interview with My Mother connects family memory with wider political and economic change.

Estaban’s work asks what images reveal - and what they help hide. It also opens Foto Colectania’s new Ecology of Images cycle, which focuses on visual culture, ecological crisis and technological acceleration.
