Cutting in for art heads, this year Swab will feature 300 artists and more than 60 galleries from around the world, so it’s sure to stir and provoke.

A standout will be the México en Femenino program, presented for the first time, showcasing four artists who claim the figure of women and their power as their field of research and exploration. Another highlight is the Video Box, The Identity Shadow, a collaboration with the UK’s Aesthetica Magazine and a space dedicated to artistic exploration through video art. A cool addition to Swab this year is that you can also visit the fair’s Italian Pavilion online in realtime through Artsy if you wish.

The fair presents art as a political statement through its Swab Emerging section, supports young galleries with its habitual My First Art Fair program and encourages experimental art through Swab Sweed. For the environmentally conscious, this year the fair becomes 100% sustainable and captures its green values in its production and logistics, all from the hand of collaborators who respect the earth.
