Visual Matter ’26 opens at BUAT Gallery with an evening dedicated to contemporary painting, photography and the pleasure of seeing art in good company. The exhibition brings together a curated selection of contemporary painters from different countries, exploring the expressive power of image, material, light and composition. Each of the artists has been selected especially for the strength of their work, creating a compact snapshot of the contemporary art scene now.
The opening night adds a social, celebratory layer to the exhibition, with a live saxophone player and sparkling cava to set the tone. It’s an art world gathering offering the chance to browse new work, meet artists and collectors, and learn more about the city’s creative scene.
