Viu Montjuïc 2026

Viu Montjuïc turns the whole mountain into a cultural exploration, with museums, gardens, theatres, heritage spaces and community projects all opening their doors for one weekend. The event is all about rediscovering Montjuïc as its own little area of art, history, nature and vistas.
This year’s edition is the sixth, bringing together open doors, guided routes, concerts, dance, family activities, workshops and outdoor performances across institutions including MNAC, the Olympic Museum, Graner, Castell de Montjuïc and other cultural spaces. Highlights include activities around the 1936 People’s Olympiad, routes through the old Montjuïc racing circuit, dance pieces at Castell de Montjuïc and open access to museum collections.
It’s a great excuse to spend a day wandering around Montjuïc, discovering a museum you forgot about, a garden you never visit, or a performance you didn’t plan on seeing.
