It’s not easy for independent promoters to find the right venue in Barcelona, but Watermelon have done very well with their terrace parties at the Café del Mar Lounge in Maremagnum situated in the port area.

For their closing event on Friday, October 6^th they welcome Archie Hamilton from London. Archie broke into the house and techno scene in a big way in 2015 following tracks like “Mind Blank” and “Troublemaker.” Since then he’s played all around the world and had a great summer in Ibiza, including a residency at Amnesia. His own label, Moscow Records, is well-respected too, and the latest release comes from Archie himself with the Wild Things EP.

So what kind of music we can expect from him at Watermelon? As Archie explains: “New tracks that sound old and old tracks that sound new! Hypnotic hooks, subtle vocals and lots of groove.” Sounds good. Joining him will be Alisonn from France and residents Triad.
