Barcelona Fringe Festival is back, bringing the spirit of Edinburgh's famous Fringe to the Mediterranean for ten days of comedy. With more than 300 shows featuring comedians and performers from around the world, the festival takes over venues across Barcelona with stand-up, improv, clowning, spoken word, game shows and even a flea circus.

The programme includes Irish comedian Mike Rice with his darkly funny show Cruel Little Man, Irene Sango exploring the trials of womanhood, and Charlie Stevens with his debut stand-up hour, Unseasoned Chicken Breast. Other highlights include LOLyamorous, a speed-dating comedy show, A Comedians Drinking Game, where comedians take a shot whenever they fail to get a laugh, and Alien Invasion, a performance art comedy show for self-proclaimed lizard people.

The festival is a collaboration between some of Barcelona's most-loved comedy venues, including The Comedy Clubhouse, Secret Comedy Club and Clubhouse Laietana. Check out the full lineup online now.
