Fight back the January blues with Cardopusher’s DJ set this Friday, January 24th at This Side Up on Avinguda Paral·lel. Born in Venezuela and based in Barcelona, Luis Garban aka Cardopusher has spent the last decade creating a variety of dance floor hits and touring the world.
He will perform music from his latest 6-track EP, Muscle Memory (2018), that takes the listener on a deep and gritty ride through his diverse sound, from techno to electro, acid, rave and house. Garban says the main themes of his music encapsulate obscurity, desperation, confusion, nostalgia and escaping the world’s indifference.
Cardopusher will be accompanied by Diego Montiel and the rising Catalan duo Houdini. Advance tickets cost €10 and include a free drink. (Event starts at midnight.)
