Charlotte de Witte could be considered an inescapable presence within the techno bubble. The Belgian DJ, producer and label head held center stage as Mixmag’s cover star in October, which detailed her dominance. Barcelona’s had its fair share of Witte’s booth muscle, with a scattering of gigs across 2019 taking her from “off” events during Sónar week to DGTL festival and gigs in between.
She’s back at Nitsa this weekend and she’s debuting her event series KNTXT which means she has control of the lineup. Joining her is fast-rising British techno artist Imogen, whose burst through this year with one of her first gigs being at Saule in Berlin institution Berghain and she recently earned a residency at hallowed London club fabric.
Completing the lineup is Berlin-based DJ Alignment, a producer who’s dropped a series of heavyweight EPs across esteemed labels Voxnox, Second State, ARTS and FLASH Rec, with gigs taking him across Europe in recent years. All the ingredients here to make this a goer. (Doors open at 12:30am)
