Flava Flava have been keeping the hip hop spirit alive in Barcelona for some time now, with everything from gigs to raves to sports events. They’ve now decided to heed the wise words of British grime crew Boy Better Know, who once said “we need some more girls in here.”
DJ Kisa, founder of Flava Flava, says that she wanted to “make sure that all ladies are treated like queens, always,” and of course this includes at parties. So, at the next monthly party, the first 50 ladies on the list get a free drink on arrival (before 1am). Leading the lineup is Miami DJ Keen One with a mix of hip hop, R&B, funk, soul, reggae, dancehall, disco and 80s, who will be joined by INOOX, the EDG Skateboard crew and DJ Kisa herself.
So, if you’re a girl, grab your big hoops and your dancing shoes. If you’re a boy, get ready to be schooled in the ways of the party by the girls that know.
