MACBA Open Doors
By Charlotte Stace
Once again, MACBA is joining in with the celebrations of the city of Barcelona, and on September 24th you can take part in its open day, where you can visit our exhibitions for free.
These include the MACBA Collection permanent exhibition which offers a journey through nine decades, told from Barcelona, which focus on different artistic and social moments in recent history. Furthermore, you’ll be able to visit the temporary exhibitions, Cinthia Marcelle. A Conjunction of Factors and Seismography of Struggles. Towards a Global History of Critical and Cultural Journals.
You can join the guided visits to the MACBA Collection, given by Avalancha, at 4:30 pm (in Catalan) and Cinthia Marcelle. A Conjunction of Factors, with the pli-é collective, at 11 am (in Spanish) and at 12:30 pm (in Catalan). The museum will also be continuing its tradition of the MACBA BOOKS special sale, where a selection of books will be on offer at the MACBA Store Laie.
