Tasta’M for La Mercè 2025

Barcelona is a foodie’s paradise. Whether it’s restaurants, markets or food festivals, it doesn’t disappoint. One of September’s most hotly anticipated foodie festivals is Tasta’M which returns as part of La Mercè celebrations. For one whole day, it’ll transform the Mercat de la Concepció into a hub of flavours and community spirit.
Organised by the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Markets and the Federation of Municipal Markets (FEMM), the festival shines a spotlight on the city’s mix of markets and their fresh, seasonal produce. More than just a tasting experience, Tasta’M is about connection. It brings neighbours and visitors together to enjoy the traditions and culture that make Barcelona’s food scene unique.
This year’s programme includes a festive sardine feast, complemented by the sounds of Lola Van’s DJ truck. Entry is free, making it the perfect way to savour local gastronomy while soaking up the festive atmosphere of La Mercè 2025.
