Women of Wine 2026
By Charlotte Stace

Mujeres del Vino is a tasting event that puts the spotlight onto the women shaping Spain’s wine scene right now. The event promises to be a fun evening of discovery, where you can wander between tables, taste a range of wines, and hear the stories directly from the women behind the bottles.
The scale is impressive: 40+ female winemakers, representing 20+ Denominaciones de Origen, pouring around 200 wines to explore, from crisp whites to serious reds, pét-nats, local grapes, and styles that range from classic to low-intervention. It’s less “formal tasting” and more “choose-your-own wine” guided by curiosity (and a very full glass).
The organisation is open to all women, whether they are farmers, winemakers, oenologists, sommeliers or journalists who work in this field and want to join their efforts with the group. More than a tasting, it’s a celebration of visibility and talent.
