Taco Fest
By Charlotte Stace

Barcelona’s biggest taco pilgrimage is back, and this time it’s getting a Día de los Muertos makeover. Taco Fest brings together 14 taquerías for three days of al pastor, birria, asada, nopal, seafood and plenty of combinations that stray deliciously off-script.
The line-up includes local favourites Tacos Muñoz, La Mafia Mexicana, Tacos Guzmán, Piñata Cantina, El Mangood and La Adelita, alongside more unexpected choices from Chamako, Warike, Lacosta and Salsa Street Food. There’ll be everything from Baja-style fish and quesabirria to duck hoisin, mole, tacos dorados and pan de muerto from SUCA’L.
And, as always, the food is only half the fun. Keeping with the Mexican theme, there’ll be lucha libre, mariachis, catrinas, tastings, DJs and a Día de los Muertos altar, with margaritas and micheladas keeping things suitably festive. This event is a must for anyone who loves Mexican culture, gastronomy and music and, of course, the taco lovers out there.
