Label takeovers are common at Nitsa but what’s less usual is the sort of “artist curated” evening that A Night With Digitalism will be. Having met while working in a Hamburg record shop (along with Alex “Boyz Noize” Ridha), Jens Moelle and Ismail Tüfekci originally associated with the mid-‘00s, nu-rave and electro fads. Digitalism since transcended those scenes, turning out consistently on-point DJ sets; recent single “Wolves” features LA indie-pop band Youngblood Hawke.

For this night Digitalism have picked Newcastle synth wizard Riton alongside the Parisian DJ Falcon, who appeared on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories and was once in pop band Together with Thomas Bangalter. The guest roster is completed by another Frenchman, DJ Pone, who debuted in January on venerable Parisian imprint Ed Banger, while Nitsa resident Kosmos completes the bill.
