Ars Electronica is a worldwide festival taking place at its headquarters at Linz, Austria and this year at 120 “gardens” around the world, from Tokyo to Los Angeles.
The online and in-person program features exhibitions, conferences, talks and workshops exploring art, technology and society. The Barcelona partners include the Espronceda art space and MIRA festival. In-person events include the Quintessence Dome show and other audiovisual installations that comprise the Solar Orchard Garden from Wednesday to Sunday at Espronceda.
Themes include quantum physics, the Gaia hypothesis, astronomy, ecology, autonomy and democracy.
