Asian Film Festival Barcelona

The Asian Film Festival Barcelona returns! Held at locations around the city and online - Cinemes Girona, CaixaForum Barcelona, Instituto Francés, Filmoteca de Catalunya and FILMIN (online) - the event will run from October 27th to November 7th.
Specializing in Asian films, this festival offers a gateway to Asian cinema in Spain. It aims to bring the high quality narrative art of the Asian continent to the Spanish public, making it a place of gathering and dialogue of multiple cultures. Films will be shown from countries such as Afghanistan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
This year’s programme will see a range of films including 1990 by Lkhagvaa Dashsambuu (Mongolia), A Balance by Harumoto Yujiro (Japan), Abhijan (The expedition) by Satyajit Ray (India) and A New Day by Negin Kianfar (Iran).
