This month sees the return of Barcelona Design Week - the annual must-see event on design and creativity. As usual, the event brings together an international design, innovation and business crowd to network, learn and celebrate. There’ll be an eclectic mix of activities with workshops, conferences, presentations, exhibitions and so much more.

This year, the BDW is using the slogan, Design for Human Future, with a focus on ‘water’. To that end, it’ll present a chance to inspire, educate, and mobilise the local and global community, whilst showing how design and creativity, applied with awareness, can be a powerful tool to address the critical challenge of water management and conservation.

Highlights include: the exhibition “Inspired in Barcelona: Terra Rossa”; Recipes for Connecting by Anja Lutz and Laura Meseguer; Water First. Roca One Day Design Challenge; and the Ephemeral Installation ‘Nutura - Re-experiencing nature’ by Benedetta Tagliabue’. The festival encompasses all aspects of design, from architectural to interior, graphic design to food design.
