If you have a passion for tattoos, extreme sports, custom bikes and cars, and street food, then BAUM festival might be the best three days of the year for you. 

BAUM (Barcelona Art and Urban Movement) and its associated Barcelona Tattoo Expo return to the city once again. Founded in 1996, it originally started out as a tattoo convention. Yet, over the years, it has expanded to incorporate activities such as graffiti, skateboarding and other underground movements. Held in the Fira de Barcelona, this year’s festival brings an exciting blend of activities and workshops. 

So, what can you expect? There’ll be BMX training, parkour competitions, breakdancing battles, tattoo contests, live art shows, motorcycle and customised car exhibitions (with live airbrushing), workshops, talks, and a market selling clothes and accessories. If all this leaves you a little peckish, there’ll be the city’s usual army of food trucks on hand offering all sorts of gastronomic delights.
