BCN en las alturas
By Charlotte Stace
BCN en las Alturas is the Market par excellence in Barcelona - the pioneer that, edition after edition, continues to be the social event that brings together the city’s inhabitants together across 3 days in November. Held in an exclusive and unique space, the latest trends in fashion, decoration, gastronomy, art and leisure come together.
This year marks the 13th edition of the market, which, once more, will be held in the Torre Bellesguard - one of the most unique and symbolic works of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The site, which was built between 1900 and 1909, has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest since 1969. It is a unique work, architecturally halfway between Gothic and modernism, full of symbols and allusions to the past, surrounded by beautiful gardens, and one of Gaudí's most unknown and fascinating works.
During the celebration of BCN en las Alturas, the tower can be visited at a special price.
