Craft beer is nothing new to the Belgians, whose beermaking history goes back nearly a thousand years. If your tastes run to Trappists, blondes or lambics, head down to the Cotxeres-Casinet civic center in Sants on Saturday, September 23^rd for the first edition of this festival celebrating all that is good about Belgian food & drink. Organized by the Catalan Associació de la Cervesa Belga, the event features an impressive selection of 16 breweries, Belgian wine and gastronomy plus activities like tastings, talks and live music. Best of all, entry is free, with beers costing just €2 each.
