Berlin-based Londoner Joseph Seaton, aka Call Super, has steadily built a reputation for intricate, multi-layered production since the early 2010s, and particularly since the appearance of his lauded debut album, Suzi Ecto, on Houndstooth in 2014. Three more evocative, lovingly assembled LPs have followed in parallel with a burgeoning DJ career, an important milestone in which was his Fabric 92 mix in 2017. His first official mix CD, it showcased prodigious skill in its weaving together of tracks from wildly different styles and eras, in much the same way as his productions blend organic and synthetic sounds to create immersive textures and atmospheres.
