Brain film fest 2024

A new edition of the Brain Film Fest comes to Barcelona this month. An exciting event that includes screenings, round tables and workshops that revolve around topics related to the brain, as always it will be held at the CCCB.
An international film festival all about the brain, it was created by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and co-organized by Minimal Films. It puts audiovisual creation and scientific dissemination at its core to show people in an accessible way the multifaceted reality of the brain, from its capabilities to its disorders and conditions. It is the only festival of its kind in Europe and has been held annually since 2018 as part of Brain Awareness Week - a global campaign to increase knowledge about the brain as well as the progress and benefits of research.
Some of this year’s films and documentaries include 20000 Especies de Abejas, Ama Gloria, Club Zero, Creatura, and Mamacruz.
