Brixton Broadcast

California fashion brand Brixton know their music. After stops in Berlin and Austin, they land in Barcelona to bring us a free minifestival at the Apolo’s smaller hall, La [2].
The two-day program features seven underground names, with a heavy Spanish selection. Leading the bill on Friday are Madrid trio The Parrots, whose power pop and garage-punk sound has a strong following across the country. Saturday’s headliners are Valencian five-piece Wau y Los Arrrghs, whose music mixes ‘60s garage rock with punk, surf and modern pop.
Many brands claim to be inspired by music – with Brixton it’s clearly not just hype.
